I will be sharing pictures and thoughts of the harvest and vineyard right up through harvest and fermentation. So far it’s been a relatively cool and even summer to date. Subsequently, most growers are predicting a later harvest this fall… maybe 2-3 weeks later than normal. But that could all change very quickly if heat makes an oppressive appearance. An interesting note is that all varietals are beginning to color up (Veraison) at the same time. That could be propitious if the fruit ripens at the same time.
